No. Based takes 0% commission on your orders. We earn from shop subscription plans instead.
Every shop starts with a 30-day free trial. Plans are Starter S$9.90, Growth S$19.90 and Pro S$39.90 per month, with 0% commission on orders. Drafts don't count toward your live listing limit. We'll always give you 30 days' notice before any price change.
Customers pay upfront by PayNow (via Stripe), straight into your own Stripe account. Based never holds your money. Your payout is released once the customer picks up the order.

No. You can browse as a guest and search shops and items by keyword or region.

You pick it up. Track your order in the app; the pickup address appears once the shop marks it Ready.
Yes, chat with shops directly in the app.
Ask the shop first. If they don't reply within 3 days, or you can't agree, email getbasedapp@gmail.com and we'll decide. If a shop cancels or your order is never marked Ready, you're refunded automatically.
